PARKING & SERVICE BRAKES   

Three different types of actuating linkage systems are available for parking brakes:

  • Rod Linkage. 

  • Hand or Foot Lever.

  • Cable Linkage.

For detail information concerning these linkage systems, special designs are available upon request.

  • Nominal Stopping Capacity: 5,000 lbs. per axle with 15" tires.
  • Not to be used with surge actuator.
  • See hydraulic line and fitting kits.
  • Wheel cylinder diameter of 1-1/8."
  • Weight each 14.5 lbs.

  • Actuate with 518680 air over hydraulic kit or 518668 vacuum over hydraulic kit.

Same as above but with internal parking brake lever.

Use with 8423 lever and cable linkage.
